What is Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society?

Mu Alpha Theta is a national honor society dedicated to inspiring a keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics. Patriot MHS is one of more than 2,600 Mu Alpha Theta chapters in the United States and in 23 foreign countries.

What do we do?

We foster interest in Mathematics through monthly meetings, discussing interesting applications of math in the real world, club and national math competitions (including competitions for scholarship money), and offering math tutoring to all Patriot students as well as various other projects.
